What is dehydration?

 A condition caused by the excessive loss of water from the body, which causes a rise in blood sodium levels. Since dehydration is most often caused by excessive sweating, vomiting, or diarrhea, water loss is usually accompanied by a deficiency of electrolytes. In a nutshell, dehydration occurs when the body loses more fluids than you take in.

What are the signs of dehydration?

Headache, delirium, confusion, tiredness, fatigue, dizziness, weakness, lightheadedness, dry mouth and/or dry cough, high heart rate but low blood pressure, loss of appetite or craving sugar, flushed skin, swollen feet, muscle cramps, dark colored urine. Severe dehydration include thirst, peeing less, not peeing, not sweating, headache and dizziness, and poor skin turgor. Severe dehydration can lead to brain damage and even death in some cases.
